DRAPS Architects & Experts, established in 1929, is acting as a multi-disciplinary team of architects, engineers and experts.

 

We propose a multi-disciplinary approach (architecture, expertise, planning, surveying,…), with a contemporary affinity.

 

Very early, we looked at the new challenges of sustainable and energy-efficient construction techniques.

In 2009, we completed our first dwellings designed according to the principles of "passive" (the refurbishment of a private garage into a small single family house and the construction of a four-appartment-building).

Building on this experience, several projects of ultra-low energy collective housing have been developed, in both construction and renovation, mainly in Brussels; some of them gaining an Eco-Exemplary-Building Award. Today we also have projects including interventions on traditional houses.

Our competences & skills also include health and safety coordination, advisory work and energy-certification.
